Export Proof performs reference capture, image rendering, and comparison on your device. Canvas images and reports are not sent to us.

What the extension stores

The extension stores the most recent reference screenshot, its page URL and title, visible semantic labels and bounds, and—if Team pack is active—recent report summaries. This data stays in browser extension storage. Uploaded export files and their decoded pixels are held in memory for the comparison and are not retained.

What leaves your device

The free proof sends nothing to Export Proof or Sociobot. When you choose to buy or verify a Team pack license, your browser contacts the Sociobot billing API with the license token. Checkout is hosted by Sociobot/Dodo, the merchant of record, and is governed by their payment privacy practices.

Permissions

• Active tab and scripting: used only after you choose the toolbar action, to inspect the visible page and bounds.
• Storage: keeps the current local reference, cached license verdict, and optional local history.
• Downloads: saves annotated PNG and JSON proof files you request.

OCR

OCR is off by default. Where available, it uses the browser’s native text detector on-device. Export Proof does not upload an image for OCR.

Analytics and retention

There are no analytics or advertising SDKs. Remove the extension to delete extension storage. You can replace the current reference at any time by capturing another page.
